The History

Air Service was born in 1994 out of an ingenious idea of a few taxi-drivers in Padua, to serve as a quick and comfortable connection between the city of Padua and the airport of Venice.

At first, the vehicles that offered the AirService were only two 9-seater minibuses, but the concept, which immediately obtained notable success, soon developed into a full-scale Shuttle Service from Padua to the airport of Venice and back.

In 1999, AirService relocated to its new and present-day headquarters.  After the deregulation of the European airline industry and the expansion of the Treviso airport with Ryanair, AirService added a new segment to its shuttle service, the route from Padua to Treviso and back..

At this point, in view of the growing number of passengers transported, the need arises to purchase additional minibuses; the AirService fleet expands to include five 9-seater minibuses and one 16-seater minibus.

Agreements with tourist agencies and companies also increase: AirService rapidly becomes a true point of reference for its private clients.

Later on, the customized rentals and transfers were added to the standard range of services.

In 2009, to satisfy a vaster client base traveling on charter flights, the routes from Padua to Bologna and from Padua to Verona were added to the collective service.
