Traveling with children?

The Highway Code provides specific regulations for taxis and private hire vehicles (NCC). In these cases, children under 150 cm in height may travel without a restraint system, provided they do not occupy a front seat and are accompanied by at least one passenger aged 16 or over.

Air Service Padova, while respecting the exemption provided for taxis and PHVs in the cases indicated by the Highway Code, always recommends requesting a child seat during booking: even when not mandatory, it represents the safest and most comfortable choice for the child.

Upon request, Air Service Padova provides approved car seats, suitable for different height ranges and designed to offer comfort and safety during the transfer.

Child seats are subject to availability and must be requested at the time of booking, indicating the child’s age, height, and weight, to allow our staff to prepare the most suitable solution.

The child seat is included in the service at no additional cost, and is available on both the shuttle service and the Premium service.

It must be requested at the time of booking, or when you are contacted by our staff, by indicating which of the seats below you intend to use. If you prefer, you can bring your own: our staff will still install it on board.

Installation is always carried out by our staff before departure. You don’t have to worry about anything: just tell us the chosen model.

Which child seat to choose?

For infants

Choose the infant car seat/carrycot or bring your own.

For very small children

For medium children over 15 months

If the child is over 15 months old and has reached at least 76 cm, it is possible to travel forward-facing.

For large children

Over 105 cm and 18 kg in weight, choose a high-back booster seat.
